Quattroporte S

The sixth-generation successor of the world’s first luxury-sports sedan combines an interior of spacious elegance with the visceral performance of Quattroporte’s powerful twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Responsive rear-wheel drive rewards those in search of exhilaration equaled only by the exclusivity of driving a Maserati.

Exterior

From the three distinctive air vents set behind the front wheels, the design lines of the Maserati Quattroporte S sweep along the flanks, describing a dynamic profile. The three large windows and frameless doors, together with the triangular C-pillar, echo a contemporary yet classic Maserati style. These features combine to give the car the look of a sleek coupe, with a long, elegant wheelbase that promises a comfortable ride and spacious interior.

dawn is an intrepid statement, with a form to match. The crafted French seam in the soft-top roof offers an unbroken surface and stunning aesthetics. The windscreen frame, created as a single piece, enhances the sense of grace and fluidity, while the wider track and iconic grille lend purity and authority. An emblem of ease and opportunity, the roof opens in just 22 seconds, revealing an open deck area that connects you to your surroundings like never before.

Performance

The V6 of the Quattroporte S remains true to the tradition of high-performance Maserati engines and shares many mechanical parts with the V8 unit fitted to the Quattroporte GTS. The bore values of the two engines are identical, as is the valve-control technology and the direct injection system. These refined solutions push the car from zero-to-60 mph in just 5.0 seconds (zero-to-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds) and a top speed of 179 mph (284 km/h).

The impressive torque of the V6 engine that powers the Maserati Quattroporte S is delivered through an all-new, 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. Assisted by auto-adaptive software able to recognize a driver’s style, as well as road conditions, the system modifies gear changes accordingly. The new transmission is lighter and more efficient than its predecessor and boasts five working modes: Auto Normal, Auto Sport, Manual Normal, Manual Sport and I.C.E. (Increased Control & Efficiency).

Interior

Stepping into the Maserati Quattroporte S is like entering an exclusive lounge. Although extremely intuitive, the onboard controls are understated so that they don’t steal the limelight from the real stars: the fine surfaces and luxurious materials. Sumptuous Italian Premium leather, elegant stitching details and fine wood trim emphasize the sleek lines of the dashboard, central tunnel and doors, enveloping the passengers in an atmosphere of luxury.

The interior is an effortless continuation of its exterior. Banks of leather create a soft line, fusing inside and out. The interior is also a destination in itself. Crafted from wood and leather, the cabin is indulgent. Roof up or down, wraps its passengers in comfort, providing a cosseting private haven and uplifting spaciousness. The contemporary interior is crafted in anticipation of unforgettable moments between friends: a true four-seater, is an experience designed to be shared.
